The spirit of ATFEST
As posted at my Multiply.

For 3/4 of my school life, I spent it in ADZU. Di obvious na may loyalty award to. HAHA. I got used to almost EVERYTHING about ADZU: the Holy Spirit mass every first day of classes, St. Ignatius Week, First Friday Masses, Grade School Night/High School Night, ADZU Fiesta, Choral Recitation Contests, etc etc etc. Bien manada paaaa.
This is the first time I'm not doing those things. Things that I got sick of, thinking that they're routinary, useless. But now that I'm not part of it anymore, I terribly miss it. [nagdrama ba naman]
T'is the season that the whole ADZU community is celebrating its fiesta, in line with the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Sadly, I won't be celebrating it anymore.
So it's pretty self-explanatory. These are few of the things that I miss most about ADZU Fiesta:
1. Opening Parade or Torch Parade. Oh the joy of walking around city proper, cheering and shouting [insert section here] while shielding our heads from the falling poops of the pigeons resting on the electric wires. HAHAHA.
2. Cheerdance Competition. I'm a fan of the Synergy [BSN Cheering Squad] and they have the most victories in cheerdancing. I think their winning streak was cut short a few years ago because of Business Management. Since I'm taking up BSN and most of my Brebeuf classmates are also under College of Nursing, I'm siding on BSN. Haha. Biased.
3. Sports Activities. I will never forget the games we had for Soccer and Futsal representing the high school. I will never forget the trauma that I experienced when I tried saving Queenzle Natividad's goal that almost broke my fingers. I will never forget the numerous saves that I did during our game vs BSN. Bastaaa. All I can say is, all the good players are from the College of Liberal Arts.
4. Food from the Booths. Aaah, the aroma of barbecued foods filling the school grounds. The P30 isaw that I buy in the morning and in the afternoon. The mixed skittles that I drink and go high on sugar. The barbecued hotdog. Too much carcinogens. HAHA
5. Grade School Night/High School Night. I don't really party but during these times, it's nice to spend it with friends and either dance or just sit at the bleachers and watch the people dance. Bisya mga hente bigaun pati mga hente tan scandal, mga college ta entra pati mga gate crashers. It only applies to High School Night, though.
6. Dancesport Competition. Pambato del Brebeuf, Margie and JP! Wooo! Though they're under the Modern Standard, you can really see how graceful they are but the Latin American Standard is much more exciting. :D
7. Alumni Night. Though it was my first time to attend one last year kasi dad ni Lance, batch 1982, it was fun to watch the fireworks at night. Especially if you're with your loved ones. Ayiiii.
8. FREE TIME. You can do anything you want without your attendance being checked and accumulating demerits. HAHAHA

I should've added Rappelling but I never got the chance to try. For one, Lance prohibited me from trying. KJ GAD KAAAAAA! HAHAHA

Oh well. Good luck Brebeuf! Mapa-BSN man kamo or otro course.
Pero era gana BSN na cheerdance. WAHAHAHA! I'll be watching you on YouTube or the AtFest08 website.
